Interior Design courses
Interior Design courses are a great getaway to learn how to level up your interiors that are for business or home. When painting a new house or renovating an old one, one of the hardest challenges we face is choosing a colour. We have to make sure it goes well with the existing décor and furniture. It should also have a warm and inviting vibe.
The colour combinations should not cause a lot of changes in the existing furniture, unless you want to get rid of it. These shouldn’t make the area look dark or small. It should make it brighter and appear larger instead. So, choose lighter shades if you have small rooms.

Choose Colours from the Largest Pattern in the Area
If you have patterned floors, a colourful rug, printed sofas or huge paintings, then choose colours from their pattern. You can keep the wall colour neutral or bold depending on the pattern or décor you select. Join an Interior Design institute to learn more about this from experts.
Make Small Spaces Pop
In India, most people have compact homes with lesser space. If you have a small room in your house, paint it with shades that will make the room pop. Using white is a good idea if you want to make it appear larger. But if you want the room to look good and walls to pop, add brighter hues.
Use the Rule of 60-30-10
Experts at Interior Design colleges advice that when painting an area, divide the colours into components of 60 percent for a dominant colour on the walls, 30 percent of secondary colour for upholstery and 10 percent for an accent colour dedicated to accessories. This ratio ensures the colours are properly balanced.
Get a Monochromatic Look
You can enhance an area by painting a smaller space there with your favourite colour. You can balance it out with white walls and floors. Make sure the shade is attractive and doesn’t overpower any other part of the decor.
