Shyam Sunder Singh and Vidhisha Gujjar, Hamstech’s talented students earned a remarkable win at the Oppo Hindustan Times Fresh Face 2017 competition. In a fierce competition with wit, talent and performance dictating the who’s who at the event, the two spirited youngsters showcased the best of their talents. They won the cherished prize with the chance to head to the national finale to be conducted in Mumbai where they shall represent Hyderabad.
It doesn’t end there! If they win the national level, they will qualify for the international level, which will be held in Dubai!
Dancing, singing, painting, and giving a treat of other performances, the participants in the competition gave the audience and the judges a unique display of talent. The two students from Hamstech Institute worked their way into the top 20 along with extremely talented and hard-working contestants.
To win the top prize they had to compete with a host of contestants, each winning hearts with their own craft. The jury had such personalities like Bigg Boss Telugu winner Siva Balaji, his better half and actor Swapna Madhuri and Bigg Boss finalists Aadarsh Balakrishna and Prince.
The competition turned tougher while 8 girls and 7 boys were shortlisted from the 20. They first had an “OPPO Selfie Walk” round. They then faced the jury for the amazing Q&A rounds, where they exhibited their knowledge, wits and confidence leading to the final results.
Shyam Sunder Singh, a photography student from Hamstech showcased his talent in speed painting (abstract painting). Vidhisha Gujjar, a fashion designing student from Hamstech, gave an exciting Bollywood dance performance. Sandeep Chowdoju, Head of Public Relations, OPPO Mobiles Telangana PVT Ltd, handed over Oppo F5 “capture the real you” camera phones to the winners.
This was one of the many students’ accomplishments that Hamstech shared the happiness and pride of.
